UNC Bear Harriers Ninth In Preseason PollsPublished by
OGDEN, Utah – With the beginning of the 2010 cross country season just around the corner, the Big Sky Conference has announced the favorites for the 2010 title, according to the league’s coaches.
Northern Colorado’s men’s and women’s teams were both picked ninth in the polls with the women receiving 15 points and the men 13. Northern Arizona’s teams were both selected to win the crown and defend their 2009 titles.
The Bears’ begin action on Sept. 3 at the Wyoming Invitational in Laramie. The race is slated to begin at 4:45 p.m. The Big Sky Championship takes place this season in Cheney, Wash., on Oct. 30.
The men’s team returns five competitors off last year’s squad, while the women’s team brings back six of its top runners from a year ago. Read the full article at: uncbears.com
